Product information
Cable Deck Railing System Lengths are based on distance BETWEEN 4x4 posts.
We define '4x4' posts as posts with a dimension of 3.5 inches in width. Our Deck Cable Post Fastening Bolts are 3.50 inches long.
To assemble our Deck Cable Post Fastening Bolts, you will need to drill each 4x4 post to a hole per Dimension E the entire width of the 4x4 post (3.5 inches), and then on the outside of the 4x4 post, you will need to countersink a hole to Dimension D for a depth of 0.25 inches (this counter sunk end will then be able to receive the 'head' of the bolt).
Cable strand is a 0.087 to 0.093 diameter 304 series stainless flat wrap swaged around a galvanized steel core.
